Cancellation Policy
Cancellation conditions for ‘packages’, ‘hotel-only’, ‘transfer-only’, or ‘tour-only’ bookings:
Individual hotel rate conditions and cancellation policies are outlined during the booking process.
Transfers and tours booked individually and not as part of a package are non-refundable once booked and paid.
In the event of changes and/or cancellations of any paid booking (including packages and hotel-only bookings), cancellation penalties imposed by the individual service providers (hotels, tour operators, etc.) will apply, in addition to administrative fees.
Unless otherwise specified, all bookings will become fully non-refundable no later than the 4th business day prior to arrival in Dubai (Dubai time zone).
Cancellation due to airline schedule changes, flight cancellations, or a decision not to travel for any reason does not constitute grounds for a full refund. Standard cancellation terms, including administrative fees, remain applicable.
Administrative Fees
Administrative fees apply to all confirmed bookings that are changed or cancelled. These fees are retained to cover services already rendered, including booking processing, coordination with suppliers, and payment handling.
Administrative fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
USD 50 per booking with a total value up to USD 1,000, or for any change requested to an existing booking
USD 100 per booking with a total value between USD 1,001 and USD 2,000
USD 200 per booking with a total value above USD 2,001
In certain cases and at our sole discretion, administrative fees may be applied as a credit toward a future Dubai stopover booking made within 12 months from the original cancellation date.
Check-in and Check-out
Unless otherwise specified, standard hotel check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is 11:00.
Hotels booked through this website do not include 24-hour check-in. Early check-in or late check-out, where available, may incur additional charges payable directly to the hotel.
UAE Visas
Kompas Express does not process UAE visa applications for bookings made through this website. Visa applications must be arranged independently through a third-party provider.
Failure to obtain a visa for any reason does not constitute grounds for a refund. Standard cancellation terms apply.
Missed Services
No refunds will be provided for missed transfers, tours, or any unused services.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure correct timing and to allow sufficient buffer for airport procedures. We recommend allowing at least one hour after arrival for airport pick-ups and at least three hours prior to departure for airport drop-offs.
Minimum Age
The lead passenger must be at least 21 years of age.
Availability
All hotels and services are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation.
Vouchers
Valid service vouchers must be presented to hotels and service providers. Clients are responsible for reviewing all details and notifying us immediately of any discrepancies.
Changes
All requests for changes must be made in writing by the lead passenger and are subject to availability.
Any increase in cost resulting from changes will be payable by the client. Cancellation penalties may apply depending on the nature and timing of the change.
We reserve the right to make changes to bookings when necessary. In the event of a major change, clients will be offered the following options:

Accept the revised arrangements

Accept alternative arrangements of comparable standard (with refund of any price difference if applicable)

Cancel the booking and receive a refund of all monies paid for the affected service
Clients must advise their choice within 72 hours of notification. Failure to respond will be deemed acceptance of the revised arrangements.
Payments
Payments must be made by credit card. Credit card payments may incur surcharges.
Refunds
No refund will be made for any unused portion of a booking.
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of completion of travel. Credit card refunds may take up to 45 days to process.
In cases of force majeure or events beyond our control (including but not limited to war, political unrest, natural disasters, airline disruptions, or government actions), refunds, if any, are subject to supplier terms and conditions. Administrative fees remain applicable.
Prices
We reserve the right to modify prices at any time prior to booking confirmation.
Prices include only the services specifically listed in the booking confirmation and do not include personal expenses such as insurance, optional excursions, meals not specified, visas, gratuities, or hotel incidentals.
Definitions and Responsibilities
“The Company,” “we,” and “us” refer to Kompas Express, 741 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Canada.
These Terms and Conditions, together with the booking confirmation, form the contract between the client and the Company and are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
The client is responsible for ensuring that all travelers have valid travel documents, including passports and visas, and for complying with all entry requirements.
We are not liable for any losses or costs arising from failure to comply with such requirements.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings.
